-------------------------------------------------------------------- COLLOQUIUM OF THE LABORATORY FOR COMPUTER DESIGN OF MATERIALS School of Computational Sciences (CSI 898-Sec 001) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Research Programs in the Institute for Nanoscience at the Naval Research Laboratory Gary Prinz Institute for Nanoscience, Naval Research Laboratory, Washington DC The Institute for Nanoscience was established at the Naval Research Laboratory in 2001 to support interdisciplinary research at the boundaries of materials, electronics and biology at the nanometer length scale.  The Institute has both a funding function for research being carried out at the Laboratory, as well as a physical support function to provide facilities and equipment to the researchers at the Laboratory.  A description of the research programs being actively pursued as well as the new physical facilities recently installed at the Laboratory will be reviewed.
