    Electron-Phonon Interactions in Semiconductor Heterostructures

    Semiconductor heterostructures have shown novel electronic properties 
due to their modified band structure.  The layered semiconductor material 
also has modified phonon modes and phonon potentials.  As a consequence 
of the change to both the electronic structure and phonon modes, the 
electron-phonon interaction is affected.  The implications of these 
modifications on electron mobility in semiconductors heterostructure at 
room temperatures will be presented.
