Topics covered include misconceptions, important terminology, patentable subject matter, types of inventions, basic requirements for patentability, steps to follow during research, patent applications and getting them issued as patents, patent infringement and licensing, as well as international issues and locations of helpful resources. Knowing about the items presented could mean the difference between obtaining a valuable patent on an invention versus losing out altogether.
